I originally ordered the solid, die-cut stickers but the border was causing an issue. So to avoid having to alter my design or shrink it down in size and increase the border thickness, I went with the clear... so it could have a clear edge outside of the sticker, keeping my design the way I wanted. My main concern with switching to the clear is that I didn't want the ink to be transparent when placed on a window... making the sticker colors look muted or faded. I was told that the artwork would have a layer of white ink underneath so that the colors on top would be opaque... but that was not the case. I placed the sticker on my truck window and you can barely see it because the white and yellow colors are so faint. I would have rather adjusted my design to work on the solid white sticker if I would have known they would look like this. Plus the clear was more expensive, so I paid more to have stickers that don't look great when applied to any surface color other than white.

Quick and easy

Makestickers was quick and easy. The sticks are for my son's fishing channel and company Dropshot tv. Everything looks great. Only time will tell how they hold up on his kayak and car.
